Remains identified as missing couple

NORTH MOHAVE COUNTY – Positive identification has been made involving a second set of human remains in what began as a missing persons investigation in north Mohave County. It was January 2018 when the Mohave County Sheriff’s office began checking into the disappearance of David and Susan McFalls, both 62. The McFalls had homes in Littlefield as well as in West Jordan, Utah. Early court records indicated the sheriff’s office was conducting a possible murder investigation, though the agency later labeled it as a death investigation. 62-year old awaiting sentencing for drug charges

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City woman has pleaded guilty to avoid prison in a near five-year-old drug case. Susan Deschaine, 62, could still get up to a year in jail when she is placed on supervised probation during a February 28 sentencing hearing. Deputy Mohave County attorney Jaimye Ashley said officers searching a Lake Havasu home in the 2700 block of Osbourne Drive confiscated 3.5 grams of methamphetamine from Deschaine’s purse. MOHAVE COUNTY – The range of possible outcomes is extreme for the Henderson man facing terrorism and other charges for a June 2018 incident that began on the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge north of Kingman. Possible punishment disparities were detailed during a January 29 settlement conference conducted for Matthew Wright, 32. In addition to terrorism, Wright is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful flight from law enforcement and two weapons offenses.
