Homicide may have been domestic dispute

 One man shot and killed his boyfriend in north Kingman early Monday. The Mohave County sheriff’s office has provided further details of the violence that unfolded at the suspect’s home in the 900 block of John Norman Ln.    Spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said the victim, Christopher Young, 30, had moved in with Christopher Kacos, 33, about a month ago. A female neighbor knocked on their door at 2:41 a.m to complain about loud music coming from the home.    “Young became aggressive and started hitting her over the head,” Mortensen said. Two deaths; three new COVID-19 cases; 148 total

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 5, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of three new COVID-19 positive cases and two COVID-19 related deaths from previous positive cases in Mohave County. Two of the new cases are in the Lake Havasu City service area, one is in the 20-44 year age range, in isolation, recovering at home, and linked to another confirmed case.
