
MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 5, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of three new COVID-19 positive cases and two COVID-19 related deaths from previous positive cases in Mohave County.
Two of the new cases are in the Lake Havasu City service area, one is in the 20-44 year age range, in isolation, recovering at home, and linked to another confirmed case. The other Havasu area case is 65+, in isolation, recovering at home and the investigation is pending. The final case is a 20-44 year age range person in th Kingman service area, in isolation, recovering at home, and linked to another confirmed case
Both deaths resulted in previously reported positive cases in the Kingman service area. One is in the 65-74 age range and the other is in the 75-85 age range. Both are linked to another confirmed case.
There are now 38 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including four deaths, 93 in Kingman, with a total of 12 deaths there, 1 case in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) and 16 in Bullhead City, including one death. There are a total of — 17 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases – 148.
