Havasu Parks and Recreation Summer Camps still accepting registration

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Summer camp registrations are still open for programs running June 1 through July 16. Camps provide local youth with a fun, safe, and engaging summer experience while giving parents a full-day program option during the workweek. Register online or in person at the Aquatic Center while spots remain available.

Sunshine Camp serves students entering first through fourth grade at Nautilus Elementary and Oro Grande Elementary. Activities include color wars, Olympics, face painting, a talent show, music and dance, pool parties, movies, spirit days, and more.

Camp I Wanna Go serves students entering fifth through seventh grade at Smoketree Elementary. Weekly activities and interest topics may include theater, photography, cooking, art, wilderness activities, sports, mystery science, card games, gardening, community projects, music, and building activities.

Programs operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. However, camps are closed on July 3 in observance of the holiday weekend.

The seven-week program costs $305 per child, and Parks and Recreation offers a discounted rate of $246 per additional child in the same family. The program fee includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all registered participants at no additional cost.

Don’t miss out, register online at www.lhcaz.gov/fun or in person at the Aquatic/Community Center located at 100 Park Avenue.
