Deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. (Arizona time) Tuesday, June 9  The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) is accepting applications for 2020 hunt permit-tags issued through the draw process for deer, fall turkey, fall javelina, bighorn sheep, fall bison and sandhill crane.   To apply, visit www.azgfd.gov and click on “Apply for a Draw.” For an overview of the application service, including license requirements, applying for bonus points and payment information, see Page 26 of the “2020-21 Arizona Hunting Regulations” booklet. COVID-19: 10 new cases, three deaths today

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 8, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified this afternoon of 10 new COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County and three COVID-19 related deaths. All three deaths are in the Kingman service area; all three are linked to another confirmed case, and all three are a previously identified case.  They are also in the 86+ age range. Teen charged with underage sexual conduct

LAKE HAVASU CITY – New Year’s morning sex at a hotel in Lake Havasu City brings a criminal charge against the older of the two teenagers involved. Police report that 19-year-old Alexander Currier is charged with sexual conduct with a minor. Police say Currier had sex with a 14-year-old girl. SALT LAKE CITY – From May 1 through August 31, the Department of the Interior will conduct a Macroinvertebrate Production Flow at Glen Canyon Dam. This experiment, also known as a Bug Flow, aims to improve egg-laying conditions for aquatic insects, which are the primary food source for endangered and native fish in the Colorado River.
