Registration underway for Bullhead schools

BULLHEAD CITY – Registration has begun for the five schools in the Bullhead City Elementary School District (BCESD).  Each K-6 school has a different schedule based upon a student’s last name; Fox Creek Junior High School (grades 7-8) has staggered hours for all. Registration is for new and returning students.  Parents or guardians must bring all necessary paperwork.  For returning students, that includes proof of residency, any missing documents requested by the school, and updated phone and email contact information.  For students new to the district, documents include government-issued birth certificates showing a child’s legal name, parent or guardian identification,…

Second positive COVID-19 reported at county jail

KINGMAN – An inmate of the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility tested positive last Thursday for COVID-19. The inmate, currently housed in medical isolation at the jail, will continue to be monitored and provided treatment as may be necessary. COVID-19 update: Four new deaths

MOHAVE COUNY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 40 new COVID-19 confirmed cases. Seventeen cases are in the Lake Havasu City service area. Six cases are in the Kingman service area. There are a total of 17 new confirmed cases in the Bullhead City area and that includes two deaths not previously reported, as well as two more Bullhead City area deaths from previous cases.
