Dear Editor, An article appeared in the Kingman Daily Miner Sunday, July 5, 2020 stating that the Kingman Farmers Market had moved to a dirt lot between the Art Hub and St. Vincent’s. Interesting that the reporter did not come down and interview Thunder-Rode where the market has been held for many years. Bullhead City to close beaches on weekends through September

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Mayor Tom Brady issued a proclamation yesterday closing down all city beaches and boat launches on weekends. The proclamation declares that all city beaches, boat launches and associated parks will be closed for the remainder of the summer on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to slow the spread of COVID-19. The parks will be open to the public Monday through Thursday. Closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday: ·        Community Park will be closed entirely. Alaska man will not be prosecuted in fatal crash deaths

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Attorney’s Office is declining prosecution of the Alaska man whose vehicle crossed the center line of Highway 95 resulting in a crash and the deaths of a mother and daughter from Lake Havasu City. Maria Ramirez-Rangle, 38, and her ten-year-old daughter were dead at the scene of the January 19 head-on collision at Fall Springs Wash. An adult male and children 5 and 14 years of age who occupied the Infinity SUV driven by Ramirez-Rangle were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries. MOHAVE COUNTY – An avalanche of early voting is beginning today throughout Mohave County. Well more than half of the county’s 127,000 registered voters have requested mail ballots to vote in front of the upcoming August 4 primary election. “Right now we have over 74,000 early ballot requests,” Recorder Kristi Turley said. They’ll be mailed out en masse starting today, though properly registered voters can request them up until July 24.
