Vote, vote vote

Dear Editor,

This upcoming election will be one of the most important in my 79-year lifetime and probably yours. Our current federal government is the most dysfunctional government ever. We have legislatures that want a more socialistic government and some leading to Marxism. The problem is do they really know what this could lead to? I have had the privilege of serving in our military and serving two – two – tours in the area of the Middle East, living and government traveling in Turkey, Pakistan, Iran North and East Africa. Knowing some of the depth of the governments in these countries I would hate to see it here. We started seeing changes in our government little by little since 1963 (the end of Bible reading or prayer in schools). In the last few years change has gotten to a fever speed. Our schools at all levels have taken a Marxist and socialistic approach in some of the teachings and I doubt if many parents are even aware of it. Is there such a thing as a little Socialism or Marxism? Dream on.

I firmly believe in All Lives Matter but cannot support the organization of Black Lives Matter as it is an organization supporting anarchy, leading to Marxism in my opinion, which lead to individual power structures, and replacing our current form of government. We have elections to stop this by electing people we think will support us as individuals and do what is best for our country. This is one of those times. Look very seriously at whom and what you vote for, you only get the chance one time to do it right in this important time.

I am a Christian and worry where our religious rights are going. We see the “under God” being eliminated in the pledge of allegiance by some of our representatives in Washington. Religion reference is banned by some of our higher educational institutions and this also includes much of our news media. Religious leaders and churches are silent, afraid to stand up for our religious freedom. Why? Franklin Graham speaking at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, said it best and to the point. He has a very dark outlook. Take the time to check it out.

We are going to need some firm leadership in the upcoming years to get back to who we are. We need to get through this virus and too much information from the CDC has been found incorrect by their own people. However, Trump got the blame. We need to get back to business and back to work. We need change. A better plan to replace / change Obamacare, lower drug prices and more critical items made in America. If at anytime we need a non-politician but a businessman, it is now. And even though I do not agree with a lot of his rhetoric, President Trump is the best man for the near future. If one is honest, he has shown that in the last 3 ½ years. We need to elect Republican representatives to back him and keep our constitution intact. I am afraid the Democratic agenda as they present it will lead up to a change in our government few, if any, will be happy with it, even Democrats. Open borders, a social agenda, Marxist ideas, destroying much of our history, reverse discrimination, taking away authority of our law enforcement and the courts. Watering down the Constitution and the Supreme Court. All of this undermines the premise of America. Whichever you choose – Vote. Do not give up this right.

To keep our Supreme Court and our Constitution strong, President Trump needs to be able to fill the current vacancy. Do not let the American Constitution be replaced with Saull Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”. Help others to get their vote out if they do need assistance getting to the polls. This is the United States of America. Let’s keep it this way. God bless our servicemen, police, first responders and all of you. Vote, vote, vote.

  1. I want to Thank You for your service. You know the meaning of sacrifice. You have taken the words and have put them in perspective that many if us find hard to say. Many of us are silent fighters but we will fight and vote for the stronger person, President Trump. Maybe he didnt fight in the Military but he is in the trenches in a diffrent capacity and fighting for us, God, and Country. I have never seen a President who has taken so much hate and adversity and keeps going. I know this, if he’s fighting for truth, justice and the American way, so can we. We are Americans.
