Vehicle strikes power pole in Mohave Valley

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – On Monday, January 5 at 6:14 p.m., a vehicle struck a power pole near the intersection of Courtright Road and Kingman Drive in Mohave Valley.

Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) crews loaded a replacement pole and arrived on scene at approximately 8:00 p.m. The lines were de-energized to safely complete the pole replacement, resulting in 66 members being without power. The damaged pole was replaced, the lines were re-energized, and power was restored to all affected members by 8:44 p.m.
