Wild burros of Oatman aren’t so wild

Two hours before the first heat of the Great Bed Races, Route 66 through Oatman was already packed with visitors staking out spots for one of the town’s most beloved and quirky traditions.
The 36th annual Oatman Bed Races will be returning on January 31.
Christmas Nights in Oatman will be on December 12 and 13 this year, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The Oatman Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the 4th of July with their 34th Annual Egg Fry. It is free to register; the goal is to cook the most edible-looking egg.
