Construction set to begin on I-40/US 93 Kingman interchange

PHOENIX – Work is scheduled to get underway Thursday, July 11, on a free-flowing interchange connecting US 93 and Interstate 40 in Kingman.

The $106 million project is planned to eliminate delays that can occur for passenger and truck traffic on the main route between Las Vegas and Arizona. While traffic now must stop at a traffic signal where Beale Street intersects with I-40, a system-to-system interchange will feature ramps that allow traffic to flow freely.

KINGMAN – Kingman resident John Myers won three separate awards at the 2023 Taking Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) crowning on June 26. TOPS is a community-building weight loss program designed to support health and wellness. After losing 98 lbs this year, John reached his goal weight of 250 pounds.

The organization has been providing veterans with this 100% free opportunity since 2005. Honor Flight Southern Nevada (HFSN), founded in 2013, is Kingman, Bullhead, and Havasu’s closest hub, always reaching out to Kingman, Bullhead, and Havasu veterans in hopes of giving them this beautiful opportunity.

KINGMAN – A defense attorney who requested probation instead saw his Kingman client receive a near double-decade prison term during a June 28 sentencing hearing. The 17.5-year prison term imposed by Judge Doug Camacho was the maximum under terms of a plea agreement convicting 67-year-old Steven Willard of two counts of aggravated assault.

KINGMAN – Authorities continue investigating the death of a Kingman woman. 33-year-old Molly Hopper reportedly left her Rancho Santa Fe area residence on June 26 and was considered endangered because she was without her necessary medications.

KINGMAN – New Image Primary Care welcomes you to their new office building off of Stockton Hill Rd. This office is a new installment into Kingman as of January. They have become their own independent office and are members of the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce. This ribbon cutting was also in celebration of their two primaries and fellow Kingman residents, Michelle Fletcher, FNP and Jocelyn Pawlicki, FNP.
