Hospital district board approves additional $2.3 million IGA with KRMC

KINGMAN – The Board of Directors of the HDOMC (Hospital District Number One of Mohave County) on August 29, approved an IGA (Intergovernmental Agreement) with KRMC (Kingman Regional Medical Center) to provide matching funds of $2.3 million for an AHCCCS (Arizona Health Cost Containment System) program, APSI (Access to Professional Services Initiative).

According the AHCCCS website, this program provides “enhanced support to certain professionals,” and aims to “preserve and enhance access to these professionals

KINGMAN – The 51st Annual Pumpkin Patrol will be accepting donations of individual candy or cash donations to fund giving out for this year’s Halloween. Donations will be accepted from now until October 24. You may drop off candy or monetary donations at the Kingman Police Department, 2730 E Andy Devine Ave, Monday through Thursday between seven a.m. and six p.m. You may mail donations to the department or make other arrangements if necessary. KINGMAN – On September 7, Kingman held September’s First Friday starting at 5:30 up until the party died down. Keeping this month’s theme; Cowboy Carnival, many local country artists such as Dessert Sky at the Beer Garden and Shane Zen could be found scattered around Beale Street; Other artists could be found in many more areas of Beale Street, including The Cellar Door, Rickety Cricket Brewing, and West of 3rd. The Kingsmen Rodeo community could be found on the Community Block between Third and Fourth Street
