KINGMAN – Arizona Capitol Times, Best Companies Group and BestCompaniesAZ announced that Foothills Bank, a Division of Glacier Bank, has earned a spot on the 12th annual list of 2024 Top Companies to Work for in Arizona. Company rankings were announced at the virtual event on August. 20, 2024, where Foothills Bank earned the #3 ranking in midsized companies.

KINGMAN – First Friday will be held in downtown Kingman on Friday, Sept. 6, beginning at 5:30 p.m. There will be live music, specials, roller skating, games, food trucks, and vendors! Several shops will be open late. A balloon drop will be held in front of The Patio, 221 E. Beale St., at 6 p.m.

New Beginnings Fellowship to have new digs

KINGMAN – The New Beginnings Fellowship is eager to develop a new church property in Kingman. A Conditional Use Permit for the project was approved during the Aug. 14 meeting of the Kingman City Planning and Zoning Commission.

The church is planned on a 3.15-acre parcel at the southwest corner of Riata Valley Road and Western Avenue.

“There’s some vacant property adjacent to the site to the west and to the south. There’s also an assisted living facility to the south, an auto dealership to the south and single-family residential uses to the east and north,”

Bids out for Rancho Santa Fe Parkway project

KINGMAN – Five Arizona construction firms and another in Colorado have plan holder status and are in position to possibly submit bids to build an Interstate 40 traffic interchange (TI) in Kingman. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is scheduled on Sept. 6 to open bids for the Rancho Santa Fe Parkway TI.

The City has already paid the agency $48.3 million to administer project construction in northeast Kingman.
