Experimental Aircraft Association to host “Learn to Fly” adult event

KINGMAN — The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 765 will be hosting an educational event, “Learn to Fly,” on Saturday, May 17. The event is free and will take place in the chapter’s hanger at the Kingman Airport Complex beginning at 9 a.m.

The event will highlight all of the benefits that aviation provides, and will feature guest speakers that will talk about their careers in aviation and the great need for a new generation of pilots.

There will be the opportunity to meet with flight instructors and take a ride in a private plane.

The event offers an opportunity for adults to learn about aviation and follows last month’s child-centered Youth Eagles program, which provided a similar experience to young children.

The sponsors for this event include Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation, Foothills Bank, and the Sutherland Law Firm.

The hanger is located at 4560 Flightline Drive in the Kingman Airport Complex. For more information please call David Amspoker at 928-757-7742.
