The City of Kingman Parks Department is continuing its Adopt-A-Park Program, a community-driven initiative designed to empower local individuals, families, businesses, schools, and organizations to take an active role in maintaining and improving Kingman’s parks and recreation areas.
The City of Kingman’s Public Works Department will begin chip sealing operations on multiple streets between Airway Avenue and Kino Avenue beginning Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 27, 2025.
KINGMAN – A single-family home under construction in Kingman was destroyed by fire on Saturday, June 7. Personnel with the Kingman Fire Department responded at 5:35 a.m. to the incident at 2310 Valentine Avenue. “Engine 211 connected to the hydrant and utilized the deck gun, which swiftly controlled the flames,” said fire department public information officer Beth Matthews. “Engine 221 arrived shortly thereafter and deployed additional lines to aid in extinguishing the fire.” Matthews said no one was hurt in the incident. The fire remains under investigation.
