City of Kingman to begin chip sealing on various streets starting June 16

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman’s Public Works Department will begin chip sealing operations on multiple streets between Airway Avenue and Kino Avenue beginning Monday, June 16, through Friday, June 27, 2025. Work will take place weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Crews will start at the intersection of Burbank Street and Airway Avenue, moving from south to north and west to east.  The following streets are scheduled for chip sealing and will be completed in this order:

  • Burbank Street
  • Skylark Road
  • North Moore Street
  • North Bond Street
  • North Wells Street
  • North Verdugo Road
  • North Lomita Street
  • North Kenneth Road
  • North Adams Street
  • North Miller Street
  • North Pearl Street
  • North Roosevelt Street

During this time, drivers should anticipate lane restrictions, reduced speed limits, and possible travel delays. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when available and follow all posted signage and traffic control devices to ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public.
