RONALD_FORTI

LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu City implements safety measures for participants and the public during the Desert Storm special event, from Thursday, April 23, through Saturday, April 25, with temporary closures affecting portions of McCulloch Boulevard and the Site Six boat launch area.

McCulloch Boulevard Closure – Thursday, April 23

To support event setup, operations, and public safety, McCulloch Boulevard is closed to all traffic between Acoma Boulevard North and Riviera Drive from 4:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. All side streets and alleys off McCulloch Boulevard and Main Street Commons are included in the closure. Detours are in place in and around the area. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to exercise additional caution near the closure area. Please observe all posted signs and follow the directions of event staff, volunteers, and law enforcement.

Site Six Closure – Friday to Saturday, April 24–25

The Site Six boat launch ramp, parking lot, and fishing dock are closed to the public beginning at 12:30 a.m. on Friday, April 24, and will reopen at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25. The closure is necessary to accommodate Desert Storm boating activities and ensure safe operations throughout the event.

Lake Havasu City appreciates the community’s continued support and cooperation during this special event and encourages everyone to plan ahead and stay safe.
