KINGMAN – Kingman police say a woman was hurt and a man was arrested after they engaged in a domestic dispute where they reside together in the 600 block of Market Street. Officers responded to a reported stabbing on the property at 6:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3.

Deputy Police Chief Rusty Cooper said the 60-year-old woman was struck in the head by a fan and stabbed in the arm by a screwdriver. She was transported to the local hospital for treatment for what he described as minor injuries.

Thomas Pifer, 63, was arrested and booked into jail on an aggravated assault charge.
