Monte “Butch” Thompson has completed his circle of life. Born on October 25, 1947 in Sioux Falls South Dakota has passed on his 72nd birthday October 25, 2019 in Kingman, Ariz. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother Laverne and Lucille Thompson and his brother Verl Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Carol Thompson, and his three children: son Buddy Thompson (Michelle), daughter Teresa Mack (John), and son Justin Thompson; six grandchildren Cody Mack, Derick Mack (Dylan), Macayla Shaw (Edward), Dylan Thompson and Laryssa Thompson, Saydee Thompson; six great-grandchildren Emerson, Peyton, Cooper, Charlotte, Wessen and Jaxson. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride

Virginia Faye Payne, nee Schwartzmann (Barnes, McBeath), passed away on October 18, 2019, peacefully at home with her husband of 39 years, Douglas H. Payne Sr., at her bedside. Virginia was born September 27, 1939 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Virginia was the oldest of five children born to Jon R. Schwartzmann and C. Marian Cobb who both predeceased her. She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, then Tucson, Ariz., where she graduated from high school before attending USC in Los Angeles, Calif. There she married Gary Barnes and had her only son, Lance Richard Barnes. She divorced Gary and married Jack McBeath before again divorcing and marrying a retired LAPD

Patrick McGovern passed away Aug. 4, 2019. He was 74 years old. Pat was born in Kingman, and was a life-long resident of Mohave County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Helen McGovern, and sisters Eva Campbell and Lola Osburn. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, and sons Tony and Joey (Jeanette), grandsons Paul and Sean, granddaughters Chelsea and Ashley, brother Cal (Linda), sisters Dot (Dub), Mary (Salty), Deni (Mike) and Joni (Bill). Rita J. Burchfield, 63, of Golden Valley, Ariz., passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at KRMC Joan and Diana Hospice Home. Rita was born in Bloomington, Ind., on March 10, 1956 to Raymond E. and Freeda M. (Frye) Terrell. She graduated from Bloomington High School North in Bloomington, Ind., and served in the U.S. Navy until her honorable discharge in 1976. She married Terry L. Burchfield on July 4, 1999. They celebrated 20 years of marriage. Rita enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, couponing, sewing, and her dachshunds. Rita was preceded in death by her parents.
