WALTER LEE SHETLER
Walter Lee Shetler was born in Cheraw, Colorado on July 25, 1929, to Milton and Ada Shetler. He died on March 9, 2020 peacefully in his sleep at the home of his youngest daughter, Kathy, in Golden Valley, AZ. Walter was the seventh child of six brothers and four sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a granddaughter. Walter married Betty Slatter on December 18, 1949 in Filer, Idaho. They had 5 children: Marilyn (David McArdle), Joann Thompson, Walter Gene, Kathy (Paul Wood), and Richard (Roslyn Gilmore). Walter had 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Former Governor Jane Dee Hull and Dr. Terry Hull pass away peacefully of natural causes
Our family is saddened to announce that our mom and dad, our Grammy Jane and Grandaddio, who many of you know as Governor Jane Dee Hull and Dr. Terry Hull, married 66 years, passed away within hours of each other of natural causes. They died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Our parents were age 84 and 85 respectively. Their journey together is an amazing story of dedication, true public service, leadership, respect for human dignity, and love of family.
