No arrests in Bullhead shooting death

BULLHEAD CITY – A knife-wielding aggressor was shot and killed during an Aug. 8 confrontation in Bullhead City, according to police. Officers responded at 7:50 p.m. to the 900 block of Seafair Drive where a woman had been shot.

Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Lucindy Gale Parkison, 49, Bullhead City was found dead inside the home.

Fromelt said Parkison visited the property to confront the residents regarding ongoing issues. She said Parkison was armed with a knife and advanced toward the residents pushing against a wall a female who suffered a defensive wound to her hand when the weapon was held to her throat.

“A male resident grabbed a gun and demanded she leave their property,” Fromelt said. “Parkison reportedly charged at the male with her knife and she was shot multiple times.”

Fromelt said the victims have cooperated with police, that no arrests are reported, and that investigation continues.
