Mohave County Reach Out facility grand opening

Mohave County Reach Out facility

KINGMAN – The $3.5 million, two-story, 8,000-square-foot Mohave County Reach Out Facility to help recently released inmates avoid returning to criminal behavior and returning to jail is finally finished.

Initially scheduled to be completed by July 2025, then in December, the facility is now ready to open. A grand opening is set for June 3 at the new facility, 501 W. Highway 66, just steps from the Adult Detention Center’s exit door.

Sheriff Doug Schuster said there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and a guided tour for county department employees and facility contributors in attendance. Arizona State Senator Hildy Angius, formerly on the Mohave Boad of Supervisors, is also expected to be in attendance.

Light snacks and refreshments will be made available to invited guests. Unlike the groundbreaking ceremony, this event is not open to the public.
