LAKE HAVASU — As the youths and parents of Lake Havasu enjoy their summer vacations, it won’t be long until it’s time for schools to reopen their doors. It’s one of the many reasons why clothing nonprofit Clothes Closet hosts their Back to School Care Fair each year.
For over three years now, Clothes Closet has become more well known around Havasu for their ongoing charitable donations. Even today, Clothes Closet continues to create positive assistance for those in need of free clothing and many other resources.
The nonprofit will be offering clothing items for students like shoes, socks, pants, shorts, and tops for both girls and boys. However, clothes is not all of what the team will be handing out.

The nonprofit will be giving away all sorts of school supplies such as highlighters, colored pencils, Elmers glue sticks, spiral notebooks, graph paper, and just about everything else you could think of to be prepared for the classroom.
Information on their family resources program will be available at the event along with career training, job listings, even hair cuts and hot meals will be available to anyone in need.
This year’s back to school care fair will be taking place on Saturday July 12 from 8:30am to 11:30am at Clothes Closet.
Clothes Closet rebuilds hope to those looking to regain dignity and respect with the support of other like minded local organizations.
