Dear Editor, One problem with all Americans making a minimum of $15 an hour is that some business owners don’t make $15 an hour.  Hundreds of thousands of small business owners struggle every day to keep the lights on and the doors of their business open. The only way they can afford help is with people who are willing to work for a low wage. This is tough for all. Government of the people does not signify minority rule

Dear Editor, Another writer argues for the Electoral College system in which she opines, “Without the Electoral college you have effectively disenfranchised the rest of the country’s voters.” The point is, with the Electoral College you have disenfranchised the majority of the voters. Government of the people, by the people, and for the people, as Abraham Lincoln so eloquently expressed at Gettsyburg, does not signify minority rule. This growth, however, depends upon steady and reliable sources of water, a precious natural resource that must be sustainably managed.
