Dear Editor, Have you ever thought changing jobs? Have you ever aspired to be a college basketball coach? Now is a great time to get your resume together.  John Calipari is the University of Kentucky men’s basketball coach.  His pay this year is over $8 million. He has a lifetime contract worth 86 million dollars. In the eyes of the basketball world the UK basketball coaching job has been one of the most desired jobs in college sports. Now in Arizona: Hope delivered every 10 seconds

Dear Editor, By all accounts, Arizona has had a rough time through the COVID-19 pandemic. A staggering loss of more than 15,000 Arizonans, punctuated by devastating economic and mental health impacts, left our state reeling. Vaccinations mean that hope is here, and Arizona’s recovery has been jumpstarted with one of the highest-volume, 24/7 vaccination sites in the country at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. With more than 8,000 vaccines administered every day…about one every 10 seconds…Arizonans have come together in a colossal act of love. This is exactly why, when state leaders called on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona…

Because they don’t like the outcome of the past election and they are going to “fix” the system. The Goldwater Institute is also involved, by dragging Proposition 208 (funding Education Bill) through the Arizona Supreme Court as unconstitutional. Never mind voters approved the proposition, or that lower courts would not rule to temporarily block 208 from taking effect. We are faced with a bunch of sore losers who can’t figure…

Valle Vista BOD not following Robert’s Rule of Order

Dear Editor, The new Board of Directors of Valle Vista want to run the board meetings their own way. No reading of the minutes of past meetings.  No reporting in the financial report of back assessments, penalties and fines.  Call to Public not in the minutes on any of the suggestions, inquiries, solutions, or even answers of what was said by any member of the Council of Co-Owners, even though they sign in to speak on one subject.  The Board of Directors are so cheap they won’t even get a microphone and speaker so that the Council of Co-Owners can…

Open letter to Valle Vista residents

Dear Valle Vista property owners and renters, As a property owner in Valle Vista you should have read the governing documents and passed along to your renters copies for them to read and follow. If a renter is not abiding by these governing documents the compliance committee can and will take action against the property owner. It would be prudent for property owners to advise their renters to comply with these regulations. And remember – No businesses allowed! Property owners should be reporting to the VVPOA office and registering their property as a rental. Information to be provided would include…
