Dear Editor, Mr. Dickson, you missed my points, which were as follows: Anyone who believes that your Socialist government is going to relegate additional taxes to folks making $400k or more IS drinking the Blue Koolaid. Ditto for anyone who can justify the level of surveillance said government wants us to believe benefits us all. 85,000 new IRS agents? Right! I’ll bet they will all wear brown shirts and pass out yellow stars. Just like your pal Social Joe wants to combat Covid. Again, all for the benefit of our fellow man. LOL. At least FDR knew where to find…

Dear Editor, To answer Rick Simpson and friend about why those making over $400K a year should pay a bit more taxes from the Oct. 20 issue of The Standard. Dear Editor, America has been through a tough time. A national election separated friends and family, divided churches, and took over our media. We’ve been intoxicated with poisonous rhetoric and toxic street gatherings that led to more division, injuries, and even death.
