KINGMAN – The Knights of Columbus Council 3145 together with St. Mary Ladies Auxiliary is partnering with St. Vincent de Paul, Aid and Advice Pregnancy Center, Pregnancy Support Center-Golden Valley and Annie’s Art Attic to have an annual “COATS for KIDS” campaign winter clothing drive. The goal for the Coats for Kids campaign is to ensure that no child in Kingman/Golden Valley goes without a coat during the winter season. Winter is right around the corner. KINGMAN – It’s that time of year where the Kingman community comes together to celebrate the Annual Andy Devine Days Parade on Saturday, Sept. 23. Participating in this annual event will make you feel like a part of the legend that has become Andy Devine Days. Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Summer 2023 President’s List. The summer terms run from May to August. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer. Volunteers needed throughout the state for court-appointed programs  The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Foster Care Review Board (FCRB) programs have launched their Fall volunteer recruitment campaigns, “Talk About CASA in Your CASA” and “Get on Board with the FCRB”.  The campaign was announced during the Arizona Supreme Court’s, Dependent Children’s Services Division biannual volunteer conference, with this year’s theme being “Volunteers Light the Way”.  Volunteers from across the state who share a dedication to the best interests of children in foster care were able to attend. Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club recently made a $1,200 donation to Kingman Cares Foundation, whose mission is to empower members of the community by providing access to current services and resources with compassion in order to maintain or improve quality of life.
