October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program and the Foster Care Review Board of Arizona (FCRB) are encouraging the community to act now and help raise awareness about its impact on individuals, communities, and children and families. The effects of domestic violence are far-reaching and not just for the partners involved but also for the children who may witness it. BULLHEAD CITY – The Show Committee of Mohave Community College Foundation’s annual Christmas fundraiser met recently to put its finishing touches on one of the holiday season’s most anticipated events, “A Night at the Gala,” featuring the area’s incomparable choir, Voices of the River.  This year’s show is an armchair traveler’s dream of holiday melodies and classical Christmas carols sung throughout Europe, the British Isles and several of the less-traveled backroads of our country.
