KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will host Shawn Meisner on October 2 at their general meeting which is open to the public.  Meisner is running for Mohave County Board of Supervisors District 1.  KRW’s second speaker on October 2 will be SueAnn Mello, Treasurer Mohave County, who will be describing how to navigate the Tax Lien Sales of delinquent properties.  Her presentation will cover tax law, tax lien auction process, how to find available homes, how to bid, and foreclosure facts. KINGMAN – For the Luv of Paws Domestic Animal Rescue & Sanctuary will be observing National Adoption Weekend this Saturday, Sept. 16 from noon to 4 p.m. at Kingman Tractor Supply. Luv of Paws will have dogs and puppies looking for their forever home. All of the animals are spayed or neutered and vaccinate. An adoption application, including a home check, and an adoption fee apply. For information call 928-897-7304.

KINGMAN – The purpose of the Rotary Educational Micro Grant is to afford K-12 teachers, in the greater Kingman area, the opportunity to apply for a one time educational grant for up to $1500.00 this year.  The Educational Micro Grant is designed to support teachers in the creation and development of innovative and dynamic opportunities designed to enrich the lives of students as a direct result of this funding opportunity.  Deadline for submission is September 30.  Email your application to lindalouowens@gmail.com or drop it off at the Chamber of Commerce office downtown at 309 E.
