Drugs, firearm seized in burglary investigation

Antonio Campos

FT. MOHAVE – The Mohave County sheriff’s office reports one arrest as well as the seizure of a stolen firearm and drugs stemming from a Dec. 18 search related to a burglary investigation. Spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said 4.5 grams of methamphetamine, 3.1 grams of illegal mushrooms, 30 pills and drug paraphernalia items were confiscated during the search of the Fort Mohave home in the 5400 block of Jack Rabbit Drive.

Mortensen said a number of subjects contacted in the residence may face drug charges through continuing investigation. She did, however, report the arrest of Antonio Campos, 64, Mohave Valley, related to recovery of a firearm that was reported stolen back in Sept.

Campos faces prosecution for theft and prohibited possession of a weapon.
