LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Mohave County Environmental Health Department in Lake Havasu City has seen an uptick in pigeon complaints this past month.  Supervisor Buster Johnson would like to remind the public that the feeding of pigeons in both the unincorporated areas and incorporated cities within Mohave County is prohibited.  “This is one of the first ordinances I helped pass and put into place during my first term,” Johnson stated.  “With a lot of new residents to the area, it’s important we remind folks of this ordinance and the health risks associated with feeding them,” Supervisor Buster Johnson stated. KINGMAN – Substantial progress is reported as a consultant conducts the Dross Site Remediation clean-up of a 15-acre site at the Kingman Airport. The smelting of 5,700 aircraft and burial of the aluminum waste product decades ago has resulted in a churning underground soup bubbling up and resulting in uneven surface. St. Vincent dePaul is a voluntary organization whose core values are to service people in need of clothing, employment, and food. For centuries, St. Vincent dePaul has helped millions who are experiencing poverty become self-sufficient.
