Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club presented Linda Miller with the club’s November Citizen of the Month award at its November 3rd meeting. Among her community contributions, Miller has served with Girl Scouts as a Brownie through Cadette troop leader and as director of the Arizona Cactus-Pine Girl Scout Council. She has also served on most Soroptimist board positions, volunteers at Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce, Kingman Art Center, Beale Street Theater, Rotary and is a member of Gamma Omega Sorority. For over 20 years, the third Saturday in November has been designated National Adoption Day. It celebrates the child and family in their new forever home. KINGMAN – Kingman Kindness will be hosting an Autumn Clothing Swap on Sunday, Nov. 19 from 9 am. to 1 p.m. at the Kingman Visitor’s Center, 120 W. Andy Devine. All clothing available will be clean and gently used. Bring clothes and take what you need. There will be men’s women’s and children’s clothing available.
