Feely competes in Albright NCAA Fall Athletics

Omare Feely of Lake Havasu City, is a member of the NCAA Division III football team at Albright College this fall. A graduate of Lake Havasu High School, Feely is studying Sociology: Criminology at Albright. More than a third of Albright students participate on one of the college’s 24 varsity sports teams, including cross country, esports, field hockey, football, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball in the fall. Gas leak under street discovered

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 10:40 a.m. on Monday, October 2, a natural gas leak was reported by Unisource in the 2400 block of S. Palo Verde. Unisource discovered a gas leak under the street and immediately shut down S. Palo Verde for safety. Crews from both Unisource and Lake Havasu Fire Department monitored the area and evacuated any affected residents. Fire Department crews remained on scene for approximately four hours while Unisource secured the leak. Lake Havasu Police and Street Departments assisted with traffic control and detoured drivers away from the hazard zone.
