Expect delays on Hwy 95

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers in the Lake Havasu City area to plan ahead for overnight travel restrictions and delays while crews repave State Route 95 at the junction with Interstate 40 (Exit 9).The following restrictions are scheduled to be in place from 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14 through 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19:SR 95 will be reduced to one lane only with alternating north- and southbound travel near the junction with I-40.Onsite flaggers and a pilot car will guide drivers through the work zone. A 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.Drivers should be prepared to come to a complete stop when approaching and driving through the work zone. The upcoming work is part of the 27-mile SR 95 pavement project between SARA Park and I-40 (mileposts 176-202). Only the portion of the project area being paved will have the restrictions in place.
