BULLHEAD CITY  – On Tuesday, October 3 at 2:48 p.m., a swarm of birds flew into Mohave Electric Cooperative’s (MEC) substation area in Willow Valley. A few birds made contact with electric equipment causing an outage for 2,776 MEC members. This outage affected members across Willow and Mohave Valley, as well as the southern Fort Mohave. Traffic stop nets 4,000 fentanyl pills

KINGMAN – What began as a routine traffic stop in Kingman evolved into a significant drug seizure. Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies reportedly observed several traffic violations in the area of milepost 59 on Interstate 40 in Kingman before conducting the traffic stop at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2.
