The 4th Annual Mayhem Motorcycle Rally brought hundreds of riders to Bullhead City last weekend despite a bit of rough weather Saturday afternoon that saw heavy rainfall and some flash flooding in the region. The annual event which kicked off Thursday with a ride along by Bullhead City Mayor Steve D’amico leading the official kickoff of the event. Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts descended on the tri-state area starting in Bullhead City where the headquarters for the event was set up in community Park with the convention Center being used for the Ink Mayhem Tattoo convention formerly hosted in the famed Colorado Belle….

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu’s annual Desert Storm celebration made a splash last week with excursions around the lake, street parties, poker runs, shootouts, and the fun seemed never ending for boat enthusiast everywhere. This was the 26th annual occasion for one of the largest boating performance events in the west coast. BULLHEAD CITY – The Rotary Club of Bullhead City will be hosting the 73rd Annual Burro BBQ on Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be live music, a kid’s zone and lots of smoked and barbecued meats. PARKER – The Colorado River Indian Tribes have taken a history making step to implement the Colorado River Indian Tribes Water Resiliency Act of 2022. At a ceremony on the CRIT Reservation April 26th, leadership from the Colorado River Indian Tribes, the State of Arizona, and the United Staes Department of the Interior signed agreements required under the act.  CRIT Chairwoman Amelia Flores and tribal leaders were joined by U.S. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, U.S. Senator Mark Kelly, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and officials from the Department of the Interior and the Arizona Department of Water Resources. A $10,000 reward is offered for information that helps determine what happened to a woman who went missing in neighboring Yavapai County more than six weeks ago. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office reports that 35-year-old Shayna Feinman had been living with others on a 40-acre ranch between Seligman and Peach Springs. Feinman reportedly never returned after walking into the woods enroute to her friend’s house on March 9. KINGMAN – Pat Hahn, a local woman who is a breast cancer survivor, works every day sewing a variety of items for pre-op breast cancer patients. Hahn, 84 years old, decided to assist new pre-op cancer patients with the crucial two weeks or so after their surgery in order to make their lives easier. Her organization is Women Helping Women with Breast Cancer. Hahn said after undergoing a mastectomy she learned that for the first 14 days there are critical things that a new breast cancer patient needs to help them with their daily living tasks. “So, I thought about…
