Self-watering bucket class

KINGMAN- The Mohave County Master Gardeners is hosting a free class on self-watering buckets, Tuesday, April 9 at 5:00 p.m. This workshop will be held at the Mohave County Cooperative Extension, 101 E Beale St. Attendees are asked to bring several items for the class: two 5-gallon buckets, one quart-sized paint mixing cup, 2 feet of 1-inch PVC pipe, 4 inches of one-half inch poly pipe. All additional tools will be provided by the Master Gardeners.

KINGMAN – Jury trial acquittals last month for attempted murder and aggravated assault were beneficial, but a disorderly conduct with a weapon conviction brings extended incarceration for a Lake Havasu City man. Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day observed

KINGMAN – On Friday, March 29, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day was observed at Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Kingman. The ceremony was hosted and coordinated by the Vietnam Veterans of America, (VVA) Chapter 995 in Kingman. The Vietnam Veterans Recognition Act was signed into law in 2017. designating March 29 as Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day. This date is significant as it indicates the end of the Vietnam War and the return of U.S. troops to American soil.
