KINGMAN, Ariz. – The City of Kingman would like to notify the community that there will be a road closure for the Eastern Realignment to Airway Avenue project beginning on Monday, May 6, 2024. This will include a road closure at Eastern Street (North of Calumet Avenue) and Kenwood Avenue (West of Lomalai Street) from Monday, May 6, 2024 thru Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Benjamin Nettrour BULLHEAD CITY – A Camp Verde man will serve lengthy incarceration in a drugged driving traffic fatality. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle ordered a 28.5-year prison term for Benjamin Nettrour, 37, during an April 26 sentencing hearing. The Department of Public Safety said Nettrour was northbound on U.S. 93 when the pickup truck he was driving rear-ended a passenger vehicle, pushing it into the median where it rolled 23 miles north of Kingman last June. A passenger in the vehicle, Angelina Ortega, 52, Chloride, was dead at the scene. Two other passengers were hospitalized with injuries….

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, a fire was reported by the resident in the 2300 block of Palo Verde Blvd N. The occupant discovered smoke and flames in the kitchen and evacuated the residence. The occupants evacuated the house safely. There were no reported injuries to the firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
