Safety Town introduced

Last week BHCFD in conjunction with BHCPD introduced Safety Town, a program provided by Banner Health, to our community and taught over 950 students in grades 3, 4, and 10 about safety. The children rotated through eight safety stations that covered fire safety, water safety, gun safety, helmet safety, car seats and seat belt safety, poison safety, bullying awareness, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The 10th graders received information about distracted driving and the potential consequences of their actions behind the wheel.
