Unidentified body located

BULLHEAD  CITY – The discovery of an unidentified body is under investigation by the Bullhead City Police Department. Agency spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said a man walking in a wash reported locating the remains of a man in a desert area off the Bullhead Parkway at about 8:20 p.m. on Monday, May 6. “There were no visible signs of trauma to suggest any foul play,” Fromelt said. “The cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Fatal BHC traffic crash under investigation

BULLHEAD CITYY – A Bullhead City man faces possible prosecution for a deadly traffic accident that remains under investigation. The alleged at-fault driver in the two-vehicle collision at 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 is identified as Anthony Lee, 27. “Police determined that Anthony Lee ran a red light at excessive speeds at the time of the accident,” said police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt. “He also has a suspended driver’s license.” Fromelt said the 2021 Dodge Charger driven by Lee was southbound on Highway 95 when it struck a 2020 Hyundai SUV that was turning onto the highway from Meadows Drive….

Human remains identified near Meadview

MEADVIEW – Human remains located this week in a remote desert area near the Meadview Overlook have been connected to a more than three-year-old missing persons case. Brandon Parish, 19, was last seen in the Meadview area in Feb., 2021, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said family members reported him missing in March, 2021.
