PEACH SPRINGS – Hualapai Tribe Chairman Duane Clarke instituted a curfew on April 8 in Peach Springs. Juniper Park and the Basketball Court located on Oak Street will be closed from dusk until dawn.
MOHAVE VALLEY — Attorneys had little to say during the April 7 sentencing hearing for a Mohave Valley man convicted of running a chop shop operation. The plea agreement convicting Lee Kennedy, 53, of involvement in the stolen parts enterprise required the Court to impose a five year prison sentence.
At its bi-weekly board meeting on Monday, April 7, the Mohave County Board of Supervisors (BOS) held the first vote regarding the potential re-opening of Davis Dam. The Board unanimously passed a resolution expressing support for the dam’s reopening.
