Olympic Village, Torch Run to be held in Kingman in April

PHOENIX – On Saturday, March 8, Arizona State Parks and Trails earned two top awards at the 43rd Environmental Excellence Awards from Arizona Forward, presented by SRP. The Kids on the Colorado River program received the Crescordia Award in the Environmental Education and Communication category, and the Artist in Residence program received the Award of Distinction in the Art in Public Places category.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College president Dr. Stacy Klippenstein has resigned. He was recently appointed as the new President of the College of Southern Nevada.
KINGMAN – Kingman High School’s Joseph McCoy was selected for the third consecutive year by audition for the 2025 Arizona All-State Honor Band. Nearly 600 excelling high school instrumental musicians auditioned for the prestigious ensemble on March 8th during live auditions held at Gilbert High School.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County has updated its voter registration records. In 2024, legislation went into effect mandating that the Mohave County Voter Registration Office notify voters when an update is made to voter registration records.
KINGMAN – The City of Kingman will begin installation on a new water transmission main to improve water pressure and overall water service to those residents on the east side of the city. Construction for this project will start at the intersection of Ross Avenue and Washington Street, extending east to Eastern Street, north to Pacific Avenue, east to Sage Street, and northeast to Santa Rosa Drive.
