LAKE HAVASU CITY – Larry G. Henderson, 27, of Lake Havasu City was arrested and charged Thursday, Dec. 19 with 23 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Henderson’s home in the 3000 block of Whirlwind Lane was raided following a several months long investigation with Lake Havasu City (LHC) Police and the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force regarding pornographic images of children having been flagged to the residence. KINGMAN – A man who fell asleep behind the wheel at a local gas station was arrested and charged with drug and weapon offenses. Casey Ryan Pepper, 32, of Lake Havasu City, was found by Kingman Police Department (KPD) officers, asleep at the fuel pumps at a gas station in the 700 block of W. Beale St. in the wee morning hours of Thursday, Dec. 19. Upon investigation, Pepper was found to possess a firearm, methamphetamine, and paraphernalia. KINGMAN – The Kingman City Council at their Dec. 17 meeting addressed filling vacancies for the Clean City, Planning & Zoning, PARG, and Transit Advisory Commissions. Mike Blair was appointed to a seat on the Historic Preservation Commission. The commission currently has a second seat that remains vacant. Clean City Commissioners C. Russell, Kathy Bowman and Na’qui “Nikki” c’Way’ya, were each reappointed for new terms. Regina Garcia submitted her resignation from the commission; Teresa Woods was appointed in Garcia’s place.
