‘Sleeper’ charged with drugs, weapons, DUI

KINGMAN – A man who fell asleep behind the wheel at a local gas station was arrested and charged with drug and weapon offenses. Casey Ryan Pepper, 32, of Lake Havasu City, was found by Kingman Police Department (KPD) officers, asleep at the fuel pumps at a gas station in the 700 block of W. Beale St. in the wee morning hours of Thursday, Dec. 19.

Upon investigation, Pepper was found to possess a firearm, methamphetamine, and paraphernalia. According to a KPD press release, Pepper was is prohibited from possessing a firearm, and was believed to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. DUI charges are pending return of lab results.
