Sting nets 10 pounds of meth, heroin

BULLHEAD CITY – A three-month long undercover operation targeting multiple drug traffickers in west Mohave County has resulted in multiple arrests and significant drug seizures. Ten pounds of methamphetamine and more than one pound of heroin was reportedly confiscated when officers searched homes in Bullhead City and the Fort Mohave area on August 8. A news release indicated that Paul Pierre Korab, 62, Fort Mohave, Eric Leigh Stock, 50, and Diana Maciel, 38, both of Bullhead City, were arrested and jailed for possession of dangerous drugs and narcotic drugs for sale. Mother stabbed to death in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man stabbed his mother to death early Sunday, according to authorities. Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said officers responded at 4:15 a.m. to a residence in the 1100 block of Jasper Avenue. “It was reported that Travers Proulx got into an argument with his mother and started stabbing her with a knife,” Fromelt said.  “Proulx’s brother woke up to the sound of his mother screaming and tried to get Travers out of the house.” Fromelt said Proulx, 43, fled on foot after threatening to kill his brother and step-father.
