Veterans Wall dedicated

White Cliffs Senior Living provides tribute to all veterans KINGMAN – Area veterans and their families joined together at White Cliffs Senior Living on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, to dedicate a tributary Veterans Wall. Some 31 veterans reside at the senior living center – eight of the 31 are WWII veterans. Two dogs perish in home fire

GOLDEN VALLEY – Firefighters from Golden Valley Fire District (GVFD) Stations 11, 12 and 13, and Battalion Chief/Fire Marshal David Martin, responded at 8:08 p.m., on Monday, to a structure located at Tapeats Drive and Road Road. When firefighters arrived on scene a few minutes after receiving the call, the singlewide mobile home was already fully engulfed in flames. The firefighters immediately deployed their fire hoses and began “knocking down” the fire. Aquarius hosts annual Christmas Tree Auction

LAUGHLIN, Nev. – The Aquarius Casino Resort will host its 8th Annual Christmas Tree Auction beginngin Friday, Nov. 29 through Friday, Dec. 20 in the Aquarius front lobby. Twelve different trees will be on display, fully decorated with ornaments. Bids start at $300 and increase by $25. Trees can also be bought outright for $1,750. Veterans Park improvements approved

GOLDEN VALLEY – Veteran’s Park in Golden Valley is getting a makeover! A host of improvements for the 10-acre park located at the southwest corner of Chino Drive and North Verde Road were approved during the November 4 Mohave County Board of Supervisors meeting. Amenities to be funded by the $75,000 allocation approved by the Board will include installation of new playground equipment and construction of new concrete walkways enhancing accessibility.
