It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Raeshel Hogue (Lucero) went to heaven on October 5th, 2026, at the young age of 43. She leaves behind her, husband Scott, loving sons Raeder and Halen, stepchildren Xavier (Tessa), Ariana, Rheannon, Tayler, step grandchildren Alaya, Oaklynn, Myles and Everlyn and parents Robert Lucero and Joyce Lucero (Benetti), stepfather Greg Benetti. Also left behind is her twin Raetricia and siblings Mary Lucero Martinez (Anthony), Sandra, Robert, Victoria, Tina, Jason (Torin) and Preston, 5 nieces and nephews. Additionally, survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Raeshel was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a 2001 graduate of Kingman High School, attended Cosmetology College and was a licensed cosmetologist.
She owned a local salon, Top This, in the Kingman area before relocating to Phoenix, AZ. Those who knew Raeshel will remember her strength, her determination, her humor, her honesty, her spirituality, and the unmistakable way she did things on her own terms. She endured more than most people could imagine, yet somehow continued to show up, love her people, and keep going. Over the past year and a half, she lived with a heart only functioning at 15% showing enduring strength and grace until passing peacefully with family by her side. She had a radiant smile with an infectious laugh.
Spending quality time with her family and friends brought her the greatest of joy. A viewing will be held at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home (1701 Sycamore Ave, Kingman, AZ 86409) from 5pm-7pm on Tuesday, October 20th. Burial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery (1301 Stockton Hill Rd, Kingman, AZ 86401) at 11am, Wednesday, October 21st in Kingman, AZ. A Celebration of Life will follow immediately at the Kingman Elks Lodge (900 Gates Ave, Kingman, AZ 86401). If providing food for the Celebration of Life potluck, please drop off prior to burial service after 10am at the Elks Lodge. Raeshel’s favorite color was purple, so friends and family are encouraged to wear something purple in remembrance at the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to a charity of your choice.
