KINGMAN – Join Kingman Downtown Merchants Association (KDMA) for their annual lighted Christmas parade in downtown Kingman on Saturday, Dec. 7, beginning at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is “A Very Merry Stars and Stripes Parade of Lights – Pearl Harbor Day”. BLM to host public meeting for proposed decorative rock mine expansion near Chloride

KINGMAN –– The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kingman Field Office will host a public scoping meeting November 19 to present a proposed mine plan from Kalamazoo Materials Inc. that would allow for expansion of an existing decorative rock mineral material site near the town of Chloride in Mohave County. The current decorative rock mine and access road encompasses 37 acres. The proposed mine plan would expand the mine site west of the existing location, adding an additional 23 acres.
