No injuries in two-vehicle crash

GOLDEN VALLEY – Golden Valley Fire Battalion Chief David Martin, Captain Boyd Lewis and firefighters from Station #11, along with DPS law enforcement, responded to a two-vehicle accident at 2:50 p.m., today, at the intersection of Highway 68 and Aztec Drive. LAKE HAVASU CITY – For years, scientific research has redefined long-held ideas about vortex energy centers and demystified them for visitors. In 2015, through a partnership with the Lake Havasu City Convention & Visitors Bureau, nine vortex energy sites were identified in and around Lake Havasu City. The National Park Service is seeking public comment on an environmental assessment to evaluate the impacts of improving the existing Willow Beach Road, which provides visitors with access from U.S. Highway 93 to the Willow Beach developed area within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This EA evaluates two alternatives for managing Willow Beach Road, describes the environment that would be impacted by the alternatives and assesses the environmental consequences of implementing the alternatives. Homicide suspect turns self in

BULLHEAD CITY – On Sunday, Nov. 17, Bullhead City Police (BHCPD) put out an all-unit search for Benji Junior Nunez, 34, who was a suspect in a homicide earlier the same day. According to a BHCPD press release, at about 2 a.m., Nunez was involved in an altercation at Marina Blvd. and Clearwater Dr., that left a man deceased and a woman injured. Later that same day, Nunez turned himself into the Bullhead City Police Department. Detectives are actively working this homicide shooting investigation and conducting several interviews.
