Teen charged with child molestation

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) detectives arrested Michael Trey Hefner, 19, of Kingman, for molestation of a child. Detectives were contacted by Huntington Beach Police Department regarding a delayed report of child molest that occurred in 2017 at a home in the 1800 block of Hearne Ave. According to an MCSO press release, the female victim, who was 10 years old at the time of the incident, alleged that Hefner, her older stepbrother, forced her to engage in sexual acts on multiple occasions. Soroptimists host free book program

KINGMAN – Soroptimist International of Kingman will host a free monthly book program – The Dolly Parton Foundation Imagination Library –  for children ages birth to five years old. Register children on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kingman Elks Lodge #468. Mrs. Claus and her helpers will have snacks available. This is open to the public. $1,000 reward offered for homicide suspect Wallace

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department (BHCPD) is actively investigating a homicide, where one man was fatally shot and his wife was injured. Detectives are still searching for Jonathan Arthur Wallace, 27, who is wanted for first degree murder. A felony warrant has been issued for his arrest.
