KINGMAN – Mohave County Republican Party’s Kingman office has moved, but not too far.  The District 1 Office is now at 2116 Stockton Hill Rd, Suite B, 10 blocks north. No injuries in Havasu house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City firefighters responded early Monday, Oct. 14, to a residential structure fire in the 1300 block of Lake Havasu Avenue North. Crews were dispatched at 2:00 a.m. when neighbors reported smoke was emanating from the vents of the duplex. The arriving fire company discovered signs of a flashover fire and an occupant was rescued from the unit, according to a news release. Berg to speak at WWI/Ghost Town presentation

KINGMAN – Sounds of Kingman in cooperation with the Mohave Museum of History and Arts and Mohave Artists and Craftmen Guild will present the history series “Ghost Towns of the Second World War: Arizona’s Historic Military Sites”, featuring road scholar Erik Berg. Berg is an award-winning historian and writer with a special interest in the early 20th century southwest.
