KINGMAN – The Mohave Republican Forum will host its annual Christmas Party and installation banquet on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. at Calico’s Restaurant, 418 W. Bullhead City Council passes resolutions for aid for Bullhead businesses and law enforcement

BULLHEAD CITY – At the Dec 4 regular meeting of the Bullhead City Council, resolutions that benefit business, community, and law enforcement were all passed. The first agenda item that was discussed and voted on was a resolution focused on food redistributor DOT Foods’s request to receive a permit fee waiver and construction sales tax. CDBG funding hearing will address allocation of funds

Mohave County will provide important information to prospective applicants for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds at an upcoming public hearing. The January 8 hearing that begins at 6:00 p.m. will be held in the Saguaro Room at the Mohave County Administration Building at 700 West Beale Street in downtown Kingman. Big Sandy, other waterways continue to run swiftly

WIKIEUP – Late Friday morning, Dec. 6, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office received a call that a 57-year-old man had become stranded in his four-wheel drive truck while trying to cross the Big Sandy River. Search and Rescue was activated, and swift water teams responded to his location. While enroute, he managed to self-rescue to the shore he had entered on. The Big Sandy River is one of several water ways in Mohave County that continue to run with large amounts of water for days, if not weeks, after a rainstorm has passed.
