2nd Annual WON Arizona Open, Feb. 5-7
WON BASS and title sponsors Bass Cat Boats and Mercury Motors present the 2nd AZ Open at Lake Havasu. The Lake Havasu fishery has been on the rise for many years with the growing population of small mouth bass and a stable population of large mouth bass just waiting to be caught. JML Outdoors Weekend Warrior Bass Series, Feb. 8, 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Weekend Warrior Bass Series is designed for beginner or average non-professional anglers. Anglers can fish an event knowing they are not competing against professional anglers or guides. Location: north of the London Bridge Channel under the group ramadas located at the South Ramp of Lake Havasu State Park. Southwest Kayaks Fishing Open, Feb. 8, 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Experience kayak bass fishing in this new open fishing tournament series. The tournament is free to enter and open to all ages and experience levels. Location: Mesquite Bay Central. The event will be repeated March 14, Apr. 11, Sept. 12, and Oct. 10, with a final competition in November at the annual Paddlefest (date TBD).

35th Annual Winterfest Street Festival, Feb. 8, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Visitors and residents alike can shop over 200 vendors in 400 booths from across the U.S. It’s two spectacular days of arts, crafts, clothing, jewelry, home decor, tasty street food, a beer garden, youth activities, and eclectic entertainment. 31st Annual Western Winter Blast Pyrotechnics Show, Feb. 13 – 16
A visit to Lake Havasu City during Presidents’ Weekend is not complete without experiencing Western Pyrotechnic Association’s and Lake Havasu City’s remarkable fireworks showcase. Organized show segments (professional, big fireworks displays): 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Largest single show is Saturday night (if cancelled due to rain, a double show will occur Sunday). Celebrate the life and memory of Mark Hahn at the 16th Annual Mark Hahn Memorial 300 Mile Race. Mark Hahn was an endurance racer, instrumental in growing the sport across the country before his untimely death during a personal watercraft (PWC) race in 2004. This event is expected to draw a record number of teams from around the globe as well as all of the top PWC racers.
